Episode 2 – How Your Smartphone Points to God

In an earlier post, I noted the creation of short videos based on my graphic novel, The God Proofs. Here’s the second, a short (two-and-half minute) video illustrating why the technology in your cellphone points to God.

I love that the book is reaching young children. Here’s a review on Amazon:

I heard about this book on a podcast and loved the idea of a graphic novel type book on the subject for my boys. We bought it for Kindle, but I ended up reading it to them on my computer to get the full color. It actually impressed me quite a bit, as it was both funny, engaging and much longer and more thorough than I initially had imagined it being.

My 8-year-old is in love with math, and the math proofs really kept him engaged. He was able to understand and process the Probability Wall idea, in particular. Both boys thought the chickens typing at light speed imagery was hilarious. My 11-year-old is not a math guy, but he was able to connect with other portions of the book. The bike lock analogy was a good one for him, and some of the later chapters he liked, as well. We ended up sending a hard copy of this book to one of the boys’ friends (another math and science loving kid) for Christmas.

There’s so much nonsense out there that creatures magically “evolved” from some sort of primeval slime. Coding is what makes life work, ultra-complex DNA coding. To do something new, an organism needs new coding, just like your smartphone needs new coding, a new app, to do something new.

Thanks for reading.
