My recent posts have presented evidence that Earth and the universe are young. Although this is a minority view, more than 100 scientific facts support it.
A friend asked why it matters.
First, it requires God. We are not descended from pond scum. The evidence that the universe was created about 7,500 years ago does not allow the delusion that we “evolved” from pond scum or apes. We were created by God, in the image of God (a mysterious phrase that I ponder), and we are His. This is huge. We are special creatures, and we have been given special abilities and responsibilities.
Second, it upholds the Bible. The Bible is not a collection of fables. It is history, beginning with Adam and Eve and the patriarchs, through Abraham and Moses and David to Jesus. The genealogy is true, the lessons are true.
Third, it lights our way and gives us hope. Because God created the universe, and the Bible is true, the path shines before us. There is a way out of the sufferings.
That’s a lot. Please look at the evidence. Study the false assumptions behind atomic dating methods, understand genetic entropy (the proven science that all life is going downhill).
It could change your life.
